Ginette d’Entremont - Recreation Director

Ginette resides in the community of West Pubnico, with her husband and two daughters.  She received her high school education at Sainte-Anne-du-Ruisseau.  She attended Mount Saint Vincent University ( Halifax) for two years, before transferring her studies to a program at Dalhousie University, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Recreation.

Ginette’s responsibilities at Argyle includes the hiring and supervision of local students to help coordinate the annual day camp, sports camps, sporting activities, senior events, and craft days that take place from July to August within our communities.  Along with the various summer activities, the Recreation Department hosts a number of special events, banquets, and recreational activities throughout the year, including but not limited to the Haunted Courthouse, Yarmouth County Athletic Awards Banquet, and the Senior’s Bus Trip.

Julien Boudreau - Active Living Coordinator

Julien studied Physical Education at the Université de Moncton and then finally switched to kinesiology. Julien’s interests are sports, music and carpentry. Julien has brought music camp and the adult floor hockey league to the municipality and is eager to create more events.

He will be responsible for the development and implementations of a physical activity plan which will help all residents of our Municipality increase their physical activity levels.  This position is being funded as a cost sharing initiative with Nova Scotia Health Promotion and Protection for five years.
