2010 Trout Point Vacation Packages
Trout Point offers new experiences and vacation packages for 2010 http://www.troutpoint.com
New-all-inclusive option

For those who want to have it all for a single price! Choose from four spacious and distinctive guest quarters in the riverside Great Lodge, with a bottle of house wine upon your arrival! Each guest room has river views, custom-made furniture and private bath. All contain a eclectic mixture of original art and wildwood furniture, and each has a cozy sitting area facing a fireplace of chiseled stone or an inviting bay window (Acadian Junior Suite). Each room manages to be both unpretentious and splendid, a place for quiet mornings and reflective evenings.
The nightly room rates are all-inclusive based on double occupancy, with carte blanche use of equipment and facilities, as well as one 2-hour guided outing (hiking or kayak), breakfast, lunch, & dinner, snacks from the Great Room bar, unlimited house wine, liquor, and liqueurs (there is an extra charge for non-house liquors). The rate there includes an 18% service charge, but not the Nova Scotia sales tax of 13% Spa services are extra. Peak season is June 26-August 31.
New elegant dining in the Napier Club
Opening in June, the log-walled Napier Club with its large bay window overlooking the Tusket River will offer intimate dining for couples in addition to the perennial favourite The Dining Room, with its granite walls and fireplaces. The new dining venue will also offer some choice of dishes within the prix-fixe format.
Staff Naturalists, massage therapist, & fishing guides all season long
New overnight wilderness experience
This year Trout Point will offer a true wilderness expedition in Great Camp style. Kayak and hike through the Tobeatic Wilderness area from Trout Point to Birchdale Lodge, one of Yarmouth County's few remaining historic lodges. Naturalist-guided groups of 4-6 persons will travel up the Napier River by kayak and then hike to Birchdale on South Carrying Road Lake, part of the Tusket River system. Camp overnight in the Lodge's rustic cabins before returning before lunch, with BBQ dinner & breakfast included.
