The Municipality has received an application for a Development Agreement to permit the development of a wind farm in the communities of Upper Wedgeport, Little River Harbour and Comeaus Hill . In accordance with the policies of the Municipality of the District of Argyle, a Public Participation Meeting will be held to inform the public of the application, explain the Municipal planning process, and provide the public with an opportunity to pose questions to the Municipality and provide comment on the application.
The Public Participation Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, beginning at 6:30 pm at the Argyle Municipal Office at 5 Rue J.E. Hatfield Crt, Tusket or at the Wedgeport Fire Hall 90 Black Pond Rd. Wedgeport.
The meeting will be streamed on our social media channels (Facebook and YouTube). All persons with an interest in these matters are invited to participate by:
