📢 Property Tax Rebate for Seniors – Now Accepting Applications

The Province of Nova Scotia is offering a Property Tax Rebate of up to $800 to help eligible seniors with the cost of municipal property taxes.

To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

✔️ Your 2024 municipal residential property taxes are paid in full, and your name is on the property title
✔️ You lived at the property as your primary residence in 2024 (it cannot be a seasonal or occasional residence)
✔️ You receive or are eligible to receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or the Allowance from Service Canada as of July 1, 2025

📅 Applications are open until December 31, 2025 and can be submitted online or by mail. There is no cost to apply.
