The Municipality of the District of Argyle remains committed to building a community where everyone feels welcome, respected, and able to participate fully in civic life.
Through our Accessibility Plan (2025–2028), we continue to take meaningful steps to identify and remove barriers in municipal programs, services, and spaces. This work ensures that individuals of all abilities have equitable access to the resources and opportunities our municipality offers.
Our Equity and Anti-Racism Strategy also reflects our recognition that historical and systemic discrimination continues to affect members of our community. This strategy guides our efforts to promote fairness, dignity, and respect through inclusive policies, education, and dialogue.
In support of these initiatives, we also provide an Interactive Accessibility Map—a digital tool designed to help residents and visitors locate accessible municipal infrastructure, including buildings, parking, transit stops, trails, and public washrooms.
These efforts reflect our ongoing responsibility to create a more inclusive and equitable Argyle for all.
